Parents are paired with a skilled clinician, and trained to use ABA techniques that are beneficial to the learner. Parent ABA education and training helps to give parents the proper tools necessary to ensure successful demonstration of newly learned skills by the learner to the home and community environments. Parent ABA education and training is an integral part of ABA therapy and helps to promote "generalization of skills" meaning that the learners newly acquired skills will be able to be demonstrated across environments, persons, and multiple examples.
